I know how often economics feels complicated and just demand schedules, graphs and heavy terms that make people switch off before they can see how deeply it shapes their lives. In school, I start spacing out when the theories and graphs feel insanely boring, but the moment I step out and start seeing economics in the world around me, it feels like the most fascinating thing ever.
Economics is misunderstood. Yes, it has lots and lots of mathematics, graphs and concepts that don’t really make sense, but to me, economics is so much more than that. You see economics in your daily coffee and even when you’re watching your favourite series.
I wanted to explore and dive into the deep end. Hence, this blog. I was curious to know more, to understand how policies are formulated, how inflation works, what is behavioural economics?. After reading books on economics, doing courses and reading research papers my interest in the subject only grew.
I started writing because I believe that economics should be something you can relate to, not fear. My hope is that this blog becomes a space where economics feels like a conversation.
I hope you enjoy reading my articles as much as I loved writing them one fiscal fact at a time!
